Al-Salam Welfare & Educational Trust

Al-Salam Welfare & Educational Trust, Ranchi (Reg. No. 8303) was established in 2006 at Barhu, an outskirt village of Ranchi district of Jharkhand and started functioning with its limited available resources, with a view to generate education, economic and social awareness among minorities and other backward masses. Since Adivasies and other minorities in Jhakhand & Chhotanagpur area are much backward, there is an urgency of work to be done among the minorities and backward Muslim masses.
The main objective of the Trust is to advance charitable object like the encouragement and development of education, health and treatment to general public and charitable objects, as to adopt running school and Madersa in view of education policy of the Central Government and State Government within State of Jharkhand and other provinces and abroad.
With a view to provide education and health to the minorities, economically backward children, down trodden and backward sections of the society i.e. to provide health and education to the last person of the society, the Trust is striving to adopt welfare measures in following manners :
- To provide medicine to poorer and needy person free of cost.
- To establish poor boys fund and to make arrangement of freeship for poor students.
- To make arrangement for scholarship of meritorious students.
In order to achieve the objectives of the Trust, as a first step, one separate girls school in the name of IAB Girl's Academy for imparting pre-primary and primary education to muslim girl students was established in 2008. The school is running in a small area built with asbestos. Free boarding and lodging including medical facilites are being provided to the students of the above school. This Trust is exempted from Income Tax and also registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010.
